Tenure Track Position in English: Trinity International University seeks a literature PhD with particular aptitude in Renaissance/Romantic literature who is also enthusiastic about teaching general education writing (research/rhetoric) and literature (genre) courses. Applicants should evidence strong Christian commitment and a desire to serve on a highly-motivated undergraduate faculty in a growing liberal arts program. Expectations include carrying a 24-credit annual teaching load, teaching upper-division courses, advising English majors, and serving on committees. Adjunct Instructor for Technology for Teachers, Division of Education: The Division of Education is seeking a qualified individual to teach ED 110 - Technology for Teachers for undergraduate students in the 2010-2011 academic year. This course is offered to education majors early in their program; it is typically taken concurrent with Introduction to Teaching. The course emphasizes utilization of educational technology in the school classroom. Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) in education or appropriate field, teacher certification, and appropriate classroom experience at the K-12 level. Assistant Professor of Athletic Training & Clinical Education Coordinator: The successful applicant will participate in all aspects of the CAATE accredited Athletic Training Education Program, maintain clinical education records; assessment of student performance during clinical education records; conduct regular site visits; develop new clinical education sites; and teach athletic training courses. Professional qualifications include a Masters or earned Doctorate (preferred) in Athletic Training or related discipline, 5 year (minimum) BOC certified, a minimum of 3 years experience in teaching (preferably as an Approved Clinical Instructor, ACI).
